Our Flat Coat Retriever Barney is walking the length of Great Britain with us starting 27th March 2015. The route is from Land's End to John O'Groats and is approx. 1400 miles / 2500km mostly off-road and will take about 4 months.
We are doing it for fun but Barney has a mission - to collect money for Guide Dogs!

Our friends John & Penny arrived soon followed by Fiona from Guide Dogs.
We are staying with John & Penny for the next two nights so they took the opportunity to take us to see the Kelpies - giant horse sculptures. Very impressive!
Very hot weather followed by thundery downpours here. You are all moving ever onwards and upwards and sending interesting pictures and fragments of history, nearly as good as walking with you and much cheaper on the boots. Jane the Witch.
