Our Flat Coat Retriever Barney is walking the length of Great Britain with us starting 27th March 2015. The route is from Land's End to John O'Groats and is approx. 1400 miles / 2500km mostly off-road and will take about 4 months.
We are doing it for fun but Barney has a mission - to collect money for Guide Dogs!
Help him along the way - just click the donations tab to find out how...
Well done all! It is all the more impressive when you realise that a well travelled and sometimes wet dog shares the tent. This still cannot detract from a most impressive effort from you all. I bet Barney gets a Knighthood and you both get a mention in despatches. Now, can I just say Bob that your cold would have stopped most people I know (including me) Seems that my advice about rubbing the back of your leg with an empty John West Salmon tin has worked again and I hope Joss's cold didn't develop into a matching one. Seems it might have. Best Wishes. Derek R
Well done Bob, Jos and Barney! Not far to go now!!
ReplyDeleteMy congratulations! That's a terrific achievement by you all and you are an inspiration. All the best, Thea.
ReplyDeleteOnly 200 miles to go! A stroll in the park. Jane the Witch
