Our Flat Coat Retriever Barney is walking the length of Great Britain with us starting 27th March 2015. The route is from Land's End to John O'Groats and is approx. 1400 miles / 2500km mostly off-road and will take about 4 months.
We are doing it for fun but Barney has a mission - to collect money for Guide Dogs!

Wow, how close you're getting! Now you're in territory familiar to us so we can follow you in even more detail. At least the sun's shining today although we have paid the price of rolling thunder and some rain for it. Hope it's not been too bad for you. I think you're having it even hotter than we are. Here we are grumbling about heat and sunshine after months of grumbling about cold and rain.
