Phil dropped Joanna and Ben off and took our sacks so we could all have an easier walk home!
Daffodils still to be seen - they were nearly over in Penzance when we started in March.
Eventually got to Burnlaw where Rosie & Gary who we last saw in Monmouth laid on afternoon tea in the garden. No pictures I'm afraid as Rosie's cake was too nice!
Then on to meet Barney's friends before the steep climb back to home!
Our Flat Coat Retriever Barney is walking the length of Great Britain with us starting 27th March 2015. The route is from Land's End to John O'Groats and is approx. 1400 miles / 2500km mostly off-road and will take about 4 months. We are doing it for fun but Barney has a mission - to collect money for Guide Dogs! Help him along the way - just click the donations tab to find out how...

I AM SO IMPRESSED !!!!!! and very much looking forward to the second part. I cannot believe that you still have daffodils. Ours were over yoinks ago. Are they a particularly late variety? How do you feel now - sad that that part is over or relieved to have done it well, kept up to schedule and got home safely - perhaps both. You are obviously super-human planners so I'm really looking forward to the next part and even seeing you. Again, all the best, Fiona.
