Big day today as we crossed the Severn and entered Wales. Celia suggested a different route to the bridge which worked well for us - thanks again!
On reaching Chepstow we were greeted by Paul from Chepstow Walkers are Welcome (www.walkinchepstow.co.uk) and we certainly were! A fine, dog friendly cafe was just the job along with shops including a pet shop to get a new red collar for Barney! All too soon and we were back in England but not before Paul had taken our picture - thanks Paul! Then we joined Offa's Dyke and eventually reached our campsite for the night but only after Jos painted the scene at Wyntour's Leap where I used to climb many years ago!
Our Flat Coat Retriever Barney is walking the length of Great Britain with us starting 27th March 2015. The route is from Land's End to John O'Groats and is approx. 1400 miles / 2500km mostly off-road and will take about 4 months. We are doing it for fun but Barney has a mission - to collect money for Guide Dogs! Help him along the way - just click the donations tab to find out how...

Glad to see you 3 are doing so well again, come rain or shine. Really looking forward to seeing the sketches eventually - what a marvellous record it will be! Well done all of you.
