Day 36 Bristol - Pilning

More pleasant walking avoiding the built up areas of Bristol and we were directed to a dog friendly cafe! Back to levels and difficult paths and cows. Looking for somewhere to camp and Celia came to the rescue! By chance she was arriving at her dog training area just as we passed and has let us camp in her field. Anybody in the Bristol / Gloucester area looking for dog training / agility classes then visit her website for details: caninerelate-bristol.co.uk

  1. Barney & family - great to learn you have walked this far already & wish your paws & health all the best as you trek further. Today's a significant 15 year Anniversary for me, as on 1st May 2000, I trained with my 1st ever guide dog Fabian who released me from the 4 walls of my home & made everything possible for me again & now my 2nd wonderful waggy-tail continues in this role at 9 years old now & we fundraise lots locally too & sponsored a £5,000 guide dog pup Fabian in-memory of him & all he gave me as a way to help Guide Dogs help even more people...keep safe Barney & so pleased so many guardian angels are helping out with sleepovers etc! Good luck & hope more kind people can donate for such a great life-changing cause. Vicky & guide dog Willow (Essex). Taken us a while to login here to encourage you along the way!

    2. You are welcome - without your dedication in helping out to fundraise, there literally would be no working Guide Dogs like my Willow on our streets!
