Our Flat Coat Retriever Barney is walking the length of Great Britain with us starting 27th March 2015. The route is from Land's End to John O'Groats and is approx. 1400 miles / 2500km mostly off-road and will take about 4 months.
We are doing it for fun but Barney has a mission - to collect money for Guide Dogs!

I can't believe how far you've got. I'm seeing and learning about places in England I didn't know of and thoroughly enjoying doing so. What an album of photo's you'll have when you're finished. You'll be able to go on a lecture tour on walking Britain and raise even more money. I have to confess that my favourite picture so far is Ironbridge because we have an almost identical one from 1970 but with a child in a push-chair instead of a dog. Keep on truckin', Fiona.
